Do & How

TURNING HOPELESSNESS INTO DREAMS

Every one of our program initiatives seeks to inspire hope, purpose, and meaning in our customers. NCCF focuses on the power of relationships, with both volunteers and professional staff, to assist our neighbors in addressing the devastation of homelessness, poverty, abandonment, mental illness, substance addiction, abuse and neglect, and domestic violence and systemic discrimination determined by the condition of their birth. NCCF’s reputation is that of a trusted and recognized champion of the vulnerable and underserved. We’ve done this by providing the trustworthy staff relationships, safe and aesthetic residential environments, generous and creative caring volunteers, participation and work in the community, and second chances to master new skills and attitudes.

NCCF operates on four integrated pillars of service: community supports, education and training, volunteerism, and advocacy. Our programs provide comprehensive and tailored services offered with cultural humility, that help children, youth, and families become confident and self-sufficient; leaving behind dependency, trauma, and poverty.
