Our mission is simple: Value and acknowledge every human being and the community that promotes and fosters their well-being.
For over a century, our organization has been dedicated to serving vulnerable children, youth, and families by providing access to programs and services that inspire their ability to thrive and give back.
NCCF’s expertise is our relationships that model resilience, in the children, youth, and families that we serve. This continues to impress and encourage us.
We carry out our mission in the National Capital Region, by utilizing a four-pronged approach, and a continuum of programs with following foci:
The National Center for Children and Families promotes diversity and inclusion as it seeks “to create total, healthy living environments for vulnerable children, youth and families, and the quality of life which empowers their ability to thrive and demonstrate responsibility.”
We respect, value and celebrate the unique attributes, characteristics and perspectives that make each person who they are. We also believe that bringing diverse individuals together allows us to collectively and more effectively address the issues that face our communities. It is our aim, therefore, that our partners, strategies and investments reflect these core values.
