Welcoming Fresh Leadership to NCCF’s Board of Trustees
The past twelve months have been an exciting and energizing season of change at NCCF. Before we close out 2025, we would like to take a pause to welcome and introduce five key NCCF volunteer-stewards who joined our Board of Trustees in the past year.
Andrea Thomas sits on NCCF’s Board of Trustees as the leader of our Board of Church Representatives, a group that grounds us in our history as a Baptist founded organization.
Andrea’s dynamic career began in the field of youth development where she worked with first generation college students and their families. These formative experiences prepared her for her current role as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the United Planning Organization (UPO).
Dr. Stephen McKenna is a board-certified surgeon and proud graduate of Howard University Medical School, where he also completed his residency.
He lives and practices medicine in Frederick County. His owns and operates McKenna Surgical Associates where his team works every day to help patients live better, healthier and longer lives.
Robin Gonzales is the Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and General Counsel (chief legal officer) for First Washington Realty (FWR), a private, national real estate investment and management firm.
She is NACD Board certified with a passion for working closely with nonprofit CEOs to shape conversations and board agendas for organization seeking to evaluate and managing risk and articulate and shape purpose, strategy and culture.
Keith Maccannon is the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Outreach for AmeriHealth Caritas District of Columbia (DC), the largest managed care plan in the District of Columbia where he oversees the health plan’s health promotion programs, communications, and marketing activities.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in both managed care and management consulting, Keith has significant health plan experience.
Jennifer McAleer is a technology leader with over two decades of experience at Marriott International.
Jennifer brings a strategic and solutions-driven approach to transforming the hospitality industry through technology and is especially committed to advancing gender equity in STEM. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, she has a strong dedication to community service that supports children in need and empowers young women pursuing careers in tech
