Your donation matters

Support the nearly 51,000 children, youth and families we serve each year in the D.C. metro region.

NCCF has earned its reputation as a trusted and recognized champion of the community and its most vulnerable members by providing the love, structure, and education found in healthy families and responsive communities. Each year we work to serve more people in need, but can only do so with your help.

Ways to support

Please review our General NCCF Fund or individual fund support options below.

For over a century, our organization has been dedicated to serving vulnerable children, youth, and families by providing access to programs and services that inspire their ability to thrive and give back. With your help, we are able to continue providing said access, and invest in opportunities to provide more, growing our abilities to have an effect on those among us who need help the most.

NCCF’s partnership with ten (10) local school districts which annually delivers clothes, school supplies, grocery store gift cards, eye glasses, and dental exams to over 45,000 students.

A Workforce Development Fund that will cover the costs of tuition, internship stipends, and certification programs for youth aging out of social services programs as well as young parents hoping to increase their income capacities.

Launched with a generous donation by Michael and Vicki Herson, The Emergency Relief Fund for Families is designed to provide immediate and flexible assistance to families at risk of eviction, homelessness, or separation. The Fund will provide rental assistance, food security, and other basic essentials in order to keep families together while addressing uncertainties that breed fear, anxiety, and resentment in children.

The Lillie Scott Grooms Fund for Excellence in the Sciences will provide annual grants and scholarships to youth across NCCF’s more than 20 programs who excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Your gently used or new items have the ability to turn a house into a home, provide a homeless family with hope, and bring a smile to the face of a neglected high school youth.

By contributing your ideas and talents, you can directly connect with children and families in need. From mentoring, to sorting goods, to playing basketball, there are countless ways and opportunities for you to contribute in meaningful ways.
