Falls Church, VA (August 1, 2017)District Taco is partnering with The National Center for
Children and Families (NCCF) for Back to School Burritos ! District Taco will be donating $1 from
every regular Burrito and Breakfast Burrito sold on Monday, August 7th, 2017 to NCCF. The
funds will be used to purchase school supplies for underprivileged children in the DC Metro
area.

District Taco greatly values community engagement and traditionally hosts fundraisers for local
nonprofits to celebrate each grand opening. District Taco is thrilled to have all ten locations
participating in this particular day-long fundraiser. Having come from humble beginnings, CEO
and Co-founder, Osiris Hoil, feels compelled to give back to those around him.

“When I was a child my parents were very poor, and it was very hard for them to buy school
supplies for me and my brothers. Helping other kids makes my heart feel full and makes me
extremely happy,” says Hoil.

This last event of the summer will round out a busy season for District Taco, which is preparing
for the opening of two new locations in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania , and Riverdale Park,
Maryland . These locations are expected to open sometime this fall. Hoil and the rest of the
District Taco team are excited to introduce their Yucatan-style fair to new cities and states!

Founded in 1915 as an orphanage in the District of Columbia, NCCF is a private, nonprofit child and family welfare agency with a commitment to serving poor, disadvantaged, abused, neglected and/or abandoned children, youth, and their families.

Current program services include emergency shelters and transitional housing for homeless families, a high-intensity therapeutic group home, therapeutic and traditional foster care and adoption, independent living for youth transitioning to adulthood, teen parent services, and community-based prevention services that promote academic achievement, parental involvement, economic and vocational stability, and healthy families. Our programs have become social service models, redefining both NCCF’s reputation and the agency’s position in the human service continuum in the Washington Metropolitan Region.
